Future Plans
      Proposal for Lahore-Fort
The Lahore Fort has to be made livelier and inviting. It presents a dull dead and ghostly look. It can reincarnate and re-live the history of times that it represents.
      The Lahore Fort's history-through centuries.
    1. Imperial guards at each entrance with costumes & spears and a theme with similar feature.
    2. Souvenir shops.
    3. Videos/Printed material
    4. Biggles.
    5. A cultural program with a Moghal theme - at least one evening, every month.
    6. Public facilities: Benches, Dustbins, Washrooms, Diversion-signs, Telephone booths.
    7. Upgrade greenery and plantation
    8. An eating area with a high-class cafe
    9. Guides in uniforms.
    10. History plaques

Audio-visual gallery can be set up in the basement regarding the Moghals The Lahore Fort can be turned into a lively and interesting place like the Tower of London: where the history is relieved in the shape of costumes, armaments, music, paintings and performances etc.

The historical profile of Lahore converges at one area i.e.

      • Badshahi Mosque.
      • Lahore Fort.
      • Ranjeet Singh Marri.
      • Minar-e-Pakistan/Iqbal Parks

Every domestic/foreign tourist in Lahore visits the above places. However, these places present a picture of neglect and decay. With some imagination and interest these can be made attractive & presentable. Govt. of Punjab plans to improve/upgrade the area in the following manner.
      1. Cleanliness.
